Sedona is an ever growing cultural center with the new Sedona Center for Arts and Technology, located at the Sedona Cultural Park, which hosts the Zaki Gordon Independent Filmmaking program as well as the annual Sedona Film Festival. There is also the Sedona Jazz Festival, Sedona Arts Festival and other special events.

Historically, Sedona has been home to over 100 movies including famous westerns featuring the likes of Elvis Presley, John Wayne, Glen Ford and many others.
