...
my training, background and philosophy.

Most
massages Ive experienced have been either too light (fluff)
or too deep too quick (slow down)! My specialty is custom designing
each session with you so you get exactly what you want be it total
relaxation (like a blissful melting into nothingness) or more specific
work, going into the tension areas consciously and releasing stuck
muscle groups for that hurts so good feeling. Perfect for the hiking,
biking and golf athlete to increase flexibility and prevent injury!
I
have cherished the art of massage for many, many years now and have
found that only a handful of therapists can actually massage me
the right way. It is my goal as a therapist to give
you the kind of treatment that I would like and would expect to
receive from a qualified professional.
I
am a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist professional
for many years now and my hands on practice started
at a young age as I discovered with friends and family the benefits
of hands on muscle manipulation. This discovery as well as my love
of touch encouraged me to pursue massage therapy as my profession.
I studied massage therapy in the Fayetteville AR at the White River
School of Massage, a nationally accredited school with a program
base of 500 hours. I attended a 100 hour equine sports massage program
during the interim as well becoming a Certified Equine Sports
Massage Therapist.
While
attending massage school on the weekends in Arkansas, I was living
and working in neighboring Oklahoma, Native America, on a 2000 acre
horse ranch applying my massage techniques to our performance horses.
I established my own private practice this small rural town, introducing
and educating the public about the therapeutic benefits of regular
massage therapy. I believe in maintaining the highest professional
standards possible as well as continuing my education and am an
fully insured member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Being
Native American, Choctaw to be precise, (by the way Oklahoma is
a Choctaw word that means Red People); I feel a natural connection
to the earth and especially the Red Rocks which bring me closer
to my spiritual center. I believe my Native American blood and spirituality
has given me an innate intuition and sense of feeling that sets
me apart from the majority.
I
apply my massage training in a professional manner and the feedback
from my clients is that they feel remarkable results and love my
therapeutic touch. I am a hands on muscle manipulator doing straight-forward
massage, leaving energy work to other healers in the
Sedona area.
I
acknowledge everyone I touch as my client as well as my teacher
and I respect and honor each one of you. Thank you for the opportunity
and openness for us to connect.
I
welcome you to experience this Native American girl, whom I call
Ramona from Sedona.
